In 2004, Houston-based Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH) was utilizing a manual process to schedule resources and found it increasingly difficult to answer basic customer questions such as, “When will you begin work on my project?”  “When will it be done?” and “What resources will you assign to my project?” IS management was struggling to stay on top of the current and projected allocation of resources.
